Selling or wasting money?

Creative strategy at Wave Studio is the step that comes before any filming or ad spend. We analyze your account, your competitors and the content that actually sells in your sector, then hand you a written plan that decides what we say, to whom, and in which format. It is for companies in Jordan and the Gulf that already spend on content and ads and want to know why one video brings messages and orders while another goes nowhere. The goal is not good looking content. The goal is content that brings conversations, leads and measurable sales.

We have worked this way from the start because Wave's founder, Jawdat Al Azizi, was a media buyer before becoming a creative strategist. He saw from the inside that the same budget and the same targeting produce very different results depending on the content. We explain the idea in detail in what creative strategy actually means.

What does Wave's creative strategy service include?

This is not a slide deck that sits on a shelf. It is analysis that ends in a practical brief your content and ad team can work from without coming back with questions. It covers:

  • Account analysis: we read your past posts and ads to see what brought messages and orders, and what only collected engagement without selling.
  • Competitor analysis: we collect your direct competitors' ads from the Meta Ad Library and other sources, and map which angles are worn out and which gaps nobody has spoken to. The full method is in how we analyze your competitors' ads.
  • Customer understanding: we listen to your sales team, read WhatsApp chats, comments and reviews, and record your customers' questions and objections in their own words.
  • Content angles: a list of the different reasons people buy from you, each with its own audience and story.
  • Hooks and formats: the first line and first shot, and the right format for each idea: a person talking to camera, a product video, customer style content, or a story.
  • Content plan: a monthly plan that spreads ideas across platforms and goals, and names the number each piece will be judged on.

How do we build the strategy, step by step?

  1. Discovery session: we sit with the owner and the marketing and sales team to understand the business goal, the key products, pricing and current sales numbers.
  2. Analysis: your account, your competitors and your customers' words. This is where the real picture appears: what sells, and what burns budget.
  3. Angles and messages: we pull angles from the analysis, not from imagination, and write one clear message and one convincing proof for each. We show how one product can give ten angles in content angles.
  4. Plan and briefs: a brief for every idea with the hook, format, platform and metric, so the writer, filmmaker, editor and media buyer all work from the same page.
  5. Measure and adjust: once content is live and ads are running, we go back to the numbers: which angle brought conversations at the lowest cost, which hook stopped people. What works gets scaled, what does not gets stopped and replaced.

What does content made for each brand and each customer mean?

No single template fits everyone. A fragrance shop in Kuwait and a school in Amman do not talk to their customers the same way, and even inside one brand, the customer comparing prices is not the customer looking for a gift. So our strategy rests on three rules:

  • A hook in the first seconds: people decide within seconds whether to keep watching, so we plan the first line and first shot before the rest of the video. Details in the first 3 seconds of an ad.
  • One idea, several versions: instead of one video for everyone, we turn the same idea into versions for each audience segment, with a different hook or angle. We explain it in one idea, many versions.
  • Stories from everyday life: like Wave's own ads about grandma and fashion, grandpa's shoes and school, or opening a restaurant in the old days. Stories people recognize from their own homes, which sell without saying "buy." More in local stories in ads.

What do you receive, and which numbers do we track?

You receive a written strategy file with the analysis, angles and messages, a monthly content plan, and a brief for every idea. When we also handle production and ads, you get a numbers report that links each angle to its result, and we update the plan every month based on what we learned.

We judge the strategy by sales numbers: cost per conversation on WhatsApp or DM, cost per lead, and return on ad spend (ROAS) for online stores. Likes and follower counts are not our measure. We also do not promise specific numbers before seeing your account and market, because results depend on the product, price, budget and competition, not on the plan alone.

Who is this service for, and who is it not for?

It fits:

  • Companies that post and advertise regularly but do not know what actually drives sales.
  • Brands in Jordan and the Gulf entering a new market or segment that needs a different message.
  • Owners tired of content that looks good but does not move sales.

It does not fit if you want quick posts without analysis, if there is no clear product or offer to sell, or if you are not ready to share sales numbers and customer conversations. Without that information, any plan is a guess, and we would rather not sell you a guess.

Questions we get about this service

How much does creative strategy cost?
It depends on the number of products or services, the number of platforms, how many competitors we analyze, and whether strategy is on its own or combined with production and ads. After the discovery session we send a written proposal based on the actual scope.
How long does it take to prepare the plan?
It depends on the size of the account, the number of products and how quickly we receive information from you. We agree on a date for the first version at the start, and the plan is then updated every month based on the numbers.
What do you need from me to start?
A session with the decision maker and the sales team, view access to your accounts and past ads, rough sales numbers, examples of customer conversations and their common questions, and any brand restrictions you have.
Which platforms does the strategy cover?
We build content strategy for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat, and the same messages feed Google Ads. The clearest results come when strategy, production and ads sit with the same team, because the same people read the numbers and make the changes.
